This author has a decent writing style that captures her readers well. Her world building is excellent and her character development is very good. Sadly, her understanding of the psychology of her h is completely missing!No woman who is on the run from a boyfriend, who has treated her to over a year of rape and severe physical abuse, and who has never had good sex up to that point in her life is wanting to hump on the leg of every good looking man she sees! Nor is she going to enthusiastically go home with two strange men on the recommendation of another strange man, even after knowing the recommender for a few days, and let them have their way with her, sexually, as soon as her stuff is out of the way!
As far as the romance... Well, if two guys talked to each other about me, when interacting directly WITH me, ALL THE TIME, as I were an object they were comparing notes about... I'd be SO GONE from that soon to be an abusive relationship!
So, yeah... This author can keep you reading, despite the nausea of knowing the realities of how abusive relationships start out very similar to this exact description...

I read this before and couldn't put it down. Have been waiting a long time for the next books.
This was one hot story. Angel is on the run from an abusive ex, she is out of money and needs a job she finds one as a waitress at a bar. A male strip club/bar she was unaware of still desperate, a job is a job. She never expected the Hard Core Men to be so big, buff, and oh so good looking. What she doesn't know is she has caught the eye of two hot hunky male strippers. Howie and Brent decide she is theirs and start to take care of her until her ex Phil comes back to threaten all of that. This is a fantastic story who doesn't want to read about sex male dancers, seduction and a little bit of suspense. looking forward to reading about Cory, Vincent, and Roxy. Now she is something else. This is a must read.
